About NAWHSL

The National Association of Women Highway Safety Leaders (NAWHSL) is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) organization founded in 1967. NAWHSL was founded by women, with a goal of serving and empowering all.
Our association welcomes all traffic safety advocates including but not limited to government employees, Highway Safety Office staff, safety partners, educators, and volunteers.

Mission Statement

To serve as a resource to all who dedicated to creating a culture for which trafficfatalities and serious injuries are no longer acceptable. NAWHSL was founded by women, with a goal ofserving and empowering all.
Women Leaders Devoted to Traffic Crash Injury Prevention
We welcome men and women to join as members. Members will receive the NAWHSL Newsletter and an invitation to the annual traffic safety leadership conference. Your $50 dues allow NAWHSL to extend its outreach to national, state, and community partners to strengthen our roadway safety and injury prevention effectiveness.
